Inspired by the vibrant flavors of various cuisines and my love for home-cooked goodness, I started this blog to invite you into my kitchen and to share the recipes that have touched my heart.
My Family
My husband, Saiful Islam, has been my biggest supporter on this culinary adventure. He holds a post-graduate degree in business studies and works as a digital marketer. His expertise not only helps me with the technical side of things, but he’s also my partner in taste-testing! Together, we’re raising our little daughter, Nafisa, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the happiness she brings into our lives. The love and resilience of my family inspire me every day, and every recipe I create is a tribute to them.
Professional Background
Becoming a full-time foodie and recipe developer has been such a fulfilling journey. My diverse background—years spent teaching and blogging—has shaped me into the recipe creator, photographer, video maker, and writer that I am today.
Here’s a little snapshot of my professional journey:
- 2009: Earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science
- 2010: Completed my Post-Graduation in Political Science
- 2017: Received my Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed) from Islamic University, Bangladesh
- 2017-2018: Worked as a teacher in a reputed institution
2021-present: I started blogging to share my family’s cherished recipes. What began as a small project has grown into a vibrant community of millions of home cooks from around the world!
My Culinary Journey
My culinary journey began with a simple love for food, nurtured by family traditions and a diverse cultural background. I have had the privilege of studying at the International Culinary Institute (ICI), where I honed my skills and deepened my understanding of flavors and techniques. Cooking has always been a cherished activity in my family, where gatherings were centered around the kitchen, filled with laughter and the aromas of home-cooked meals.
I specialize in a delightful blend of cuisines, including American, Mexican, Italian, and Indian, each bringing its own unique story and flavor profile. Whether it’s a comforting pasta dish or a spicy curry, I believe that food has the power to connect us all.
My Mission
At Naznin Kitchen, my mission is simple: to inspire others to explore the joys of cooking and to make healthy eating accessible for everyone. I aim to provide easy-to-follow recipes that encourage creativity in the kitchen while also celebrating cultural diversity through food. Each recipe is a step toward nurturing a love for cooking and sharing meals that bring people together.
