The 10 Best Food At Sheetz

This post gives details about the 10 best food at Sheetz. I don’t know if you’ve ever stopped by Sheetz to grab some gas and a quick bite, but it can be a really daunting experience.

I went in there to have lunch and was overwhelmed with the variety of options. This is why I decided to break down the best foods you can get at Sheetz.

10 Best Food At Sheetz

1. Fried Pickle Chips

A friend of mine described this as “the best pickle in history,” and I couldn’t agree more. It’s lightly breaded, fried to perfection, and tastes wonderful with either ranch or marinara sauce.

It might not be the healthiest option on the list, but it is definitely one of the most delicious ones.

2. Totz (Tater Tots)

If you’re wondering what it is, it’s basically tater tots but with a different shape and name. Basically the same thing, except that it doesn’t have to be fried. With cheese and herring, this is a perfect snack for gas.

3. Mozzarella Sticks

The key here is the marinara sauce — if you get the pizza sauce, it tastes as regular mozzarella sticks dipped in pizza sauce. The sticks are also larger than your average mozzarella stick, earning them their own place on this list.

4. Fryz/Totz Platter

If you’ve never had fryz before, they taste perfectly rich and crunchy with a generous coating of melted cheese on top. You can always substitute the cheese with ranch sauce if you want to be healthier. I’m not sure if this is related to totalz, but it has the same taste and calories as a ton of fried potatoes.

5. Mac N’ Cheese Bites

This is a perfect treat for you if you love mac n’ cheese! I think it’s brilliant to use bite-size pasta shells for this dish — the mac n cheese filling ratio per shell is higher than normal, making this delicacy well worth each bite.

6. Jalapeño Popperz

The perfect blend of jalapeño and cream cheese, this is a great snack to have in the gas station. Don’t try to eat it in the car because you will end up with a mess. But if you want to clean your hands after eating one, I can help you out.

7. Boneless Bitez (Popcorn Chicken)

If you like popcorn chicken, breaded, and fried chicken tenders, then this is the dish for you. They’re tasty, but be careful how much sauce you use — it can get messy and unappetizing quickly!

8. Onion Rings

The perfect side for a burger and fries, you probably won’t believe how much onion is hidden in this tiny ring. I recommend the onion rings at Sheetz, but ensure you are prepared for the extra mess.

9. The Big Mozz (Burger)

Are you still confused about what a mozzarella stick and mac n cheese bite look like? No problem! This is the closest thing to it besides getting a real mac n cheese bite — it’s like a big mozzarella stick that has been flattened out into patty form and fried. It definitely gives Mozzarella sticks a run for their money!

10. Popcorn Chicken

This is my favorite of the bunch! It’s breaded, crispy, and full of flavor. This is a great dish to order because it tastes just like the kind you get in fast food restaurants. I would just be wary of how much sauce you use — it can mess up your hands pretty quickly if you eat it in the car.

Is Sheetz Food Healthy?

I actually enjoy Sheetz, but these dishes are definitely not health friendly unless you get them with ranch or marinara sauce and skip the cheese(probably nacho cheese).

However, they are all very delicious and satisfying. So if you’re looking for a quick and delicious meal, Sheetz is surely the place to go!

The Bottom Line

I actually enjoy Sheetz, but these dishes are definitely not health friendly unless you get them with ranch or marinara sauce and skip the cheese(probably nacho cheese).
