Frisch’s Chili Recipe: A Homemade Version

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cans of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for added heat)

Instructions:

  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes, or until the flavors have melded together and the chili has thickened.
  5. Serve the chili with your choice of toppings, such as shredded cheese, sour cream, and chopped green onions.
