Ingredients
  

For The Bulgogi Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon green onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For The Main Dish:

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef ribeye or sirloin works best
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare The Bulgogi Sauce

  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, mirin, chopped green onion, and black pepper in a bowl. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2: Marinate The Beef

  • Place the thinly sliced beef in a bowl and pour half of the Bulgogi Sauce over it. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

Step 3: Cook The Bulgogi

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Add the marinated beef to the pan. Cook the steak until it is well done and browned.

Step 4: Serve And Garnish

  • Drizzle the remaining Bulgogi Sauce over the cooked beef and vegetables. Toss to combine.
  • Serve the Hello Fresh Bulgogi hot over steamed rice garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
