Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare The Dry Ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder and the salt. Reserve.
Mix The Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, you should put together sugar, vegetable oil, melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Complete the mix until smooth.
Combine Wet And Dry:
Little by little, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently until combined. You can overmix and end up with a dense loaf, so just stop when you don’t see streaks of flour anymore.
Fold In Blueberries:
Toss blueberries with a teaspoon of flour (helps prevent them from sinking). Fold into the batter.
Bake The Bread:
Spread the batter evenly in a prepared loaf pan. Bake it for about 50-55 minutes or until center comes out clean when inserted with a toothpick.
Cool Before Slicing:
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then transfer it to cool completely on a wire rack.
