1tablespoondried Calendula petals or 2-3 fresh Calendula flowers
2cupswater
Honey or lemonoptional, for taste
Instructions
Step 1: Boil The Water
Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
Step 2: Add Calendula Petals
Remove the boiling water from the heat and stir in a tablespoon of dried Calendula petals or two or three fresh Calendula flowers.
Step 3: Steep The Tea
Cover the saucepan or kettle and let the Calendula petals steep in the hot water for about 5-7 minutes. This allows the petals to infuse their flavors and beneficial compounds into the tea.
Step 4: Strain And Serve
After steeping, strain the tea into a teapot or individual cups to remove the petals. If desired, add a teaspoon of honey or a squeeze of lemon for a touch of sweetness or tanginess. Stir well and enjoy your homemade Calendula tea recipe.
