Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups Campbell’s Beef Consomme
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: minced garlic chopped onions, chopped parsley or green onions, butter

Instructions
 

Cooking The Rice:

  • Make sure the rice is thoroughly cleaned by running cold water over it.
  • In a pot, combine the rinsed rice with water and bring it to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and all the water is absorbed.

Preparing The Beef Consommé:

  • While the rice is cooking, heat the Campbell’s Beef Consomme in a separate pot over medium heat.
  • Season the consommé with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Optional: Add minced garlic and chopped onions for extra flavor.
  • Let the consommé simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Combining Rice And Consommé:

  • Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and transfer it to a serving dish.
  • Pour the hot beef consommé over the rice.
  • Optional: Stir in a knob of butter for a richer dish.
  • Gently stir to combine, allowing the rice to soak up the flavorful broth.
