Instructions
Step 1: Preheat And Prep
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Step 2: Cook The Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Season the beef with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup with the cooked beef until evenly coated.
Spread the beef mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
Step 4: Add Tater Tots
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
Step 5: Bake
Bake the dish for twenty-five minutes in a preheated oven.
Step 6: Add Cheese
Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake for ten more minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted.
