Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 package 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat And Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

Step 2: Cook The Beef

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • Season the beef with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Combine Ingredients

  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup with the cooked beef until evenly coated.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.

Step 4: Add Tater Tots

  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.

Step 5: Bake

  • Bake the dish for twenty-five minutes in a preheated oven.

Step 6: Add Cheese

  • Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake for ten more minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted.
