Chili's Blackberry Margarita Recipe – Make It At Home!
This Blackberry Margarita combines fresh blackberries with tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice to create a fruity twist for the classic margarita.

For The Blackberry Margarita:
- 2 oz tequila preferably reposado
- 1 oz orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz blackberry simple syrup see below
- Ice cubes
- Coarse salt or sugar for rim (optional)
- Lime wedge and fresh blackberries for garnish
For The Blackberry Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Make Blackberry Simple Syrup:
Add the water, blackberries, and sugar in a saucepan.
Stir it to dissolve the sugar then bring it to double boil on medium heat.
Reduce heat to low and let it simmer about 10 minutes, or until berries are broken down.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Strain through fine-mesh sieve into a clean container, pressing on solids to extract all liquid, discarding solids.
Cool completely before use.
Rim The Glass (Optional):
Prepare The Margarita:
Place the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and blackberry simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
Fill it with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds or more till shaken well.
Serve:
Fill your prepared glass with fresh ice.
Strain the margarita into the glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge and a couple of fresh blackberries.
