2teaspoonsof loose tea leavesblack tea or your preferred variety
2tablespoonsof unsweetened cocoa powder
2tablespoonsof sugar or sweeteneradjust according to your preference
Optional: milk or cream to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Boil The Water
In a pot, first bring two cups of water to a boil. Over medium-high heat, allow the water to come to a rolling boil.
Step 2: Add Tea Leaves
Once the water reaches a boil, add 2 teaspoons of loose tea leaves to the saucepan. Stir gently to ensure the tea leaves are evenly distributed.
Step 3: Infuse With Chocolate
Next, add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder to the saucepan. Stir well to combine the cocoa powder with the tea leaves and hot water. This step infuses the tea with the rich flavor of chocolate.
Step 4: Strain The Mixture
After infusing the tea with chocolate, it’s time to strain the mixture. Pour the Chocolate Tea through a tea infuser or strainer into another saucepan or directly into serving mugs. This step removes any tea leaves or cocoa powder residue, resulting in a smooth and velvety drink.
Step 5: Sweeten To Taste
To enhance the sweetness of your Chocolate Tea, add 2 tablespoons of sugar or sweetener. Adjust the amount according to your preference. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
