Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 5 oz each of solid white albacore tuna (in water, drained)
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: lettuce leaves tomato slices, and bread for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare The Tuna

  • Open and drain the cans of tuna. Place the tuna in a medium-sized mixing bowl and use a fork to break it into small flakes.

Mix The Ingredients

  • Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the tuna. Mix until well combined.

Add Vegetables

  • Stir in the finely chopped celery, red onion, and sweet pickle relish. Mix thoroughly to ensure all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Season

  • To taste, add more salt and black pepper to the tuna salad. Start with a small amount, taste, and adjust as necessary.

Serve

  • Serve your tuna salad chilled, either on a bed of fresh lettuce, between slices of your favorite bread, or with tomato slices on the side. Enjoy it as a sandwich, a salad, or even a protein-packed dip with crackers.
