Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a 9×9-inch baking dish or a cast-iron skillet in the oven while it preheats.
Prepare The Dry Ingredients:
Combine the Albers Yellow Cornmeal, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix them well until fully combined.
Create The Wet Mixture:
Whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs in another bowl until the mixture is smooth.
Combine Dry And Wet Mixtures:
Empty the wet blend into the dry fixings and mix until recently consolidated. Be mindful so as not to overmix; a couple of protuberances are OK.
Bake The Cornbread:
Carefully remove the hot baking dish or skillet from the oven and add a small amount of butter, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom evenly. Pour the cornbread batter into the hot dish or skillet and spread it out evenly.
Bake:
Place the dish or skillet back in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serve Warm:
Once done, remove the cornbread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, slice it into squares and serve warm.
