Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons of fresh minced garlic.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard.
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil.
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper.
  • 1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash seasoning salt with herbs and spices or another favorite salt blend.
  • Any other favorite spices can be added as well if desired.

Steps For Making The Sauce

  • Add all of the aforementioned ingredients for making the sauce together in a bowl and mix thoroughly (we recommend using a whisk).

Preparation: Making The Sauce

  • Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce. Allow the sauce to sit for about 30 minutes. The longer the sauce sits on the meat, the better it will taste.

Steps For Cooking

  • Prepare a pan with a little bit of olive oil and place your flank steak in the pan. Preheat the grill to medium-high (or if you’re cooking stovetop, set your stove to medium-high). Cook for about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • During the last two minutes of cooking, add the sauce to the pan you are cooking your steak in and reduce the heat to low. The sauce can be brushed on the steak during the last two minutes of cooking.
  • Allow the steak to rest for about 15 minutes before you serve it, and enjoy!
