of ground turmeric

of honey
Juice of half a lemon
Optional: a pinch of cayenne pepper for added heat
Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add the grated ginger and ground turmeric to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and strain the tea into a cup.
Stir in the honey, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper (if desired).
Allow the tea to cool slightly before consuming.
