  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small hot pepper like jalapeño, finely chopped (optional for extra heat)
  • 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2-3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare The Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add Aromatics: To the same skillet, add the chopped onion, garlic, and hot pepper (if using). Cook until the onion is translucent and the mixture is fragrant.
