  • 2 cans 5 ounces each of tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: lettuce leaves tomato slices, and bread for serving

Step 1: Prepare The Ingredients

  • First, drain the canned tuna thoroughly. Put the tuna in a large mixing bowl and break it up with a fork until it’s nice and flaky.

Step 2: Mix The Tuna Salad

  • Next, add the mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, red onion, sweet pickle relish, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard to the bowl. Blend all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

Step 3: Season The Salad

  • Add salt and pepper to taste when preparing your tuna salad. Adjust the seasoning as needed – you know your taste buds best!
