Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • cup of granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter melted
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup of freshly squeezed Key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon of Key lime zest
  • Whipped cream and lime slices for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure your key lime pie bakes to perfection.

Step 2: Prepare The Crust

  • Crumbs from Graham Crackers, Sugar, and Melted Butter are combined in a basin. Create a solid bottom and edges by pressing this mixture into a 9-inch pie dish.

Step 3: Prepare The Filling

  • In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks until they become pale and slightly thick. Add the sweetened condensed milk, Key lime juice, and Key lime zest. Mix until well combined.

Step 4: Bake The Pie

  • Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. The edges should be set, but the center might still be slightly jiggly.

Step 5: Cool And Chill

  • After allowing the pie to cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature, place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until it is completely set.
