Ingredients
  

For The Cajun Marinade:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For The Creamy Cajun Sauce:

  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Marinading The Chicken

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, paprika, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

Cooking The Chicken

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of olive oil.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off, and place it in the hot skillet.
  • Cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until it’s cooked through and has a beautiful golden-brown crust.

Preparing The Creamy Cajun Sauce

  • In another skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
