Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep The Steak

  • Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. This helps them get that golden sear.
  • Season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.

Step 2: Sear The Steak

  • Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and let it get hot.
  • Place the steak cubes in a single layer in the skillet. Don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until a brown crust forms. Remove the steak bites and set them aside.

Step 3: Make The Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In that same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt.
  • Add in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Keep an eye on it though so that you do not burn the garlic.

Step 4: Combine And Serve

  • Place the bites back in the skillet and toss with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Heat for 1-2 more minutes to warm through.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
