Soak the dried peaches in water overnight in the refrigerator.
The next day, drain the peaches and reserve the soaking water.
Place the peaches, husked wheat, sugar, cinnamon stick, and orange peel in a large pot.
Add the reserved soaking water and the remaining 10 cups of water.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the peaches are tender.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool completely.
To serve, place a few tablespoons of the cooked husked wheat in a glass.
Add a few peach halves and top off with the syrup.
Serve cold and enjoy!
