Preparing The Fried Mushrooms
Prepare The Coating: Start by setting up your coating station with three shallow bowls: one for flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
Coat The Mushrooms: Dip each mushroom first in the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally, coat them thoroughly in the breadcrumbs.
Fry The Mushrooms: Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pan to 375°F (190°C). Fry the mushrooms in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, remove and place on paper towels to drain.
Making The Dipping Sauce
Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, horseradish, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Adjust To Taste: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning or horseradish according to your preference for a more personalized touch.
