Reishi Tea Recipe: A Natural Remedy

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 dried Reishi mushrooms
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • Honey or sweetener of choice optional

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the dried Reishi mushrooms under cool water to remove any debris. Break them into smaller pieces using your hands or a kitchen knife.
  • In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.
  • Carefully add the broken Reishi mushroom pieces to the boiling water.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the mushrooms steep for about 1 to 2 hours. This will allow the beneficial compounds to infuse into the water.
  • After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and strain the tea using a tea infuser or strainer.
  • Pour the Reishi tea into cups or mugs. If desired, add honey or your preferred sweetener to enhance the taste.
  • Enjoy the Reishi tea while it’s still warm.
