Rinse the dried Reishi mushrooms under cool water to remove any debris. Break them into smaller pieces using your hands or a kitchen knife.
In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.
Carefully add the broken Reishi mushroom pieces to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the mushrooms steep for about 1 to 2 hours. This will allow the beneficial compounds to infuse into the water.
After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and strain the tea using a tea infuser or strainer.
Pour the Reishi tea into cups or mugs. If desired, add honey or your preferred sweetener to enhance the taste.
Enjoy the Reishi tea while it’s still warm.
