Rose Infused Iced Tea Recipe: A Refreshing Summer Drink

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of filtered water
  • 4 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea black, green, or oolong
  • 1 teaspoon of dried roses or 2-3 fresh roses

Instructions
 

  • Bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil and let it cool down for a few minutes.
  • Add 4 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea and 1 teaspoon of dried roses or 2-3 fresh roses to a tea infuser or strainer.
  • Place the infuser or strainer in a teapot or pitcher.
  • Pour the hot water over the infuser or strainer.
  • Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on the type of tea.
  • Remove the infuser or strainer, and discard the tea leaves and roses.
  • Sweeten the tea with honey, sugar, or any sweetener of your choice. Stir in the sweetener until it dissolves completely.
  • Pour the tea over a glass filled with ice cubes and garnish it with a few fresh rose petals or a slice of lemon.
