  • 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf black tea or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar adjust according to your preference
  • Optional: a pinch of salt for enhanced flavor

Step 1: Boiling Water

  • Start by bringing the water to a boil in a kettle or pot. It’s essential to use fresh water for the best flavor. As the water comes to a boil, move on to the next step.

Step 2: Preparing The Tea Leaves

  • Use 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf black tea in a teapot or mug with a strainer if you’re using that type of tea. Alternatively, you may just put the tea bags in the teapot or mug if you’re using them.

Step 3: Steeping The Tea

  • Once the water has reached a rolling boil, carefully pour it over the tea leaves or tea bags in the teapot or mug. Allow the tea to steep for approximately 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Step 4: Adding Milk

  • After the tea has steeped, remove the strainer or tea bags from the teapot or mug. Next, add the milk to the tea. You can use any type of milk you prefer, such as whole milk, almond milk, or soy milk.

Step 5: Sweetening The Tea

  • To achieve the perfect balance of flavors, add sugar to the tea. Start with 2 tablespoons of sugar and adjust according to your taste preferences. Stir well until the sugar has dissolved.
