Starbucks Peach Green Tea Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 green tea bags
  • 1 cup of peach syrup
  • 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Sliced peaches and lemon wedges for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Making The Peach Syrup

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar.
  • Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup of diced peaches to the saucepan.
  • Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, until the peaches have softened and infused their flavor into the syrup.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool.
  • Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids. Set aside.

Brewing Green Tea

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and add 4 green tea bags.
  • Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  • Remove the tea bags and discard them.
  • Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature.

Mixing The Lemonade

  • In a separate pitcher, combine 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 cup of water.
  • Stir the mixture until well combined.
  • Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness according to your preference by adding more lemon juice or water as needed. Set aside.

Combining The Ingredients

  • In a large pitcher, combine the brewed green tea, peach syrup, and lemonade.
  • Stir the mixture gently to ensure all the flavors are evenly distributed.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more peach syrup or lemon juice if desired.
  • Add ice cubes to the pitcher to chill the drink and keep it refreshing.
  • Stir the mixture again to incorporate the ice cubes.
