Instructions
Making The Peach Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Add 1 cup of diced peaches to the saucepan.
Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, until the peaches have softened and infused their flavor into the syrup.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool.
Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any solids. Set aside.
Brewing Green Tea
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Remove the saucepan from heat and add 4 green tea bags.
Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
Remove the tea bags and discard them.
Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature.
Mixing The Lemonade
In a separate pitcher, combine 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 cup of water.
Stir the mixture until well combined.
Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness according to your preference by adding more lemon juice or water as needed. Set aside.
Combining The Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the brewed green tea, peach syrup, and lemonade.
Stir the mixture gently to ensure all the flavors are evenly distributed.
Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more peach syrup or lemon juice if desired.
Add ice cubes to the pitcher to chill the drink and keep it refreshing.
Stir the mixture again to incorporate the ice cubes.
