Step 1: Prepare The Beef

  • Slice The Beef: Begin by slicing the beef tenderloin or sirloin into thin strips. This guarantees fast and consistent cooking of the meat.
  • Season: Season the beef strips with salt and black pepper.

Step 2: Cook The Beef

  • Heat The Oil And Butter: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  • Sear The Beef: Add the beef strips to the skillet and sear them until browned on all sides. This should take about 5-7 minutes. After taking the steak out of the skillet, set it aside.
