Ingredients
  

For The Turkey Patties:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley optional
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs optional, for binding
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil

For Serving:

  • 4 burger buns or lettuce wraps for a low-carb option
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced red onion
  • Sliced avocado or guacamole
  • Condiments: ketchup mustard, mayo, or BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare The Patty Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • If the mixture feels too wet, add breadcrumbs gradually until it holds together. Be careful not to overdo it – we want juicy burgers!

Step 2: Shape The Patties

  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions.
  • Lightly oil your hands and shape each portion into a patty about ¾-inch thick.
  • Place patties on a baking sheet and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes. This helps them hold their shape during cooking.

Step 3: Cook The Patties

  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add the oil.
  • Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F.
  • Avoid pressing down on the patties to keep all those delicious juices inside!

Step 4: Assemble The Burgers

  • Toast the buns lightly on the skillet or grill.
  • Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and any other toppings you love.
  • Place the cooked turkey patty on top, slather with your favorite condiments, and dig in!
