Ingredients
  

For The Dough:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs

For The Filling:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

For The Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Activate The Yeast: In a bowl, combine warm milk, a pinch of sugar, and the active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • Prepare The Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, softened butter, sugar, salt, and eggs. Add the activated yeast mixture and knead until a soft, elastic dough forms. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
  • Roll Out The Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 16×12 inches.
  • Create The Filling: Brush the rolled-out dough with melted butter, leaving a small border. Sprinkle brown sugar and ground cinnamon evenly over the buttered surface.
  • Roll And Cut: Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
  • Arrange In A Pan: Place the sliced rolls in a greased baking pan, leaving a little space between each. Allow them to rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  • Bake To Perfection: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Make The Cream Cheese Frosting: While the rolls are baking, beat together softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Frost And Enjoy: Once the rolls are out of the oven, generously spread the cream cheese frosting over them. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.
